Why FUN?

The Fields Undergraduate Network was established in July 2010 with support from the Fields Institute. The Network brings students and researchers, from industry and academia, and produces workshops which are undergraduate friendly.

With the wide scope of mathematics, it will be difficult for any individual to gain a widespread view of the discipline’s evolution. By hosting our workshops and learning of more research areas, our audience may benefit from an enriched view of our mathematical landscape.

This blog is meant to serve as a sounding board for some of the ideas introduced with the workshops. Anyone is free to comment on the posts and if you’d like to see a discussion initated, please email richard.cerezo@alumni.utoronto.ca
